Episcopal services are traditionally based on the Book of Common Prayer, the historic service book of the Anglican Church that dates back to 1549. (The version we use, however dates back to just 1979, the last time the Book was substantially revised.) However, weekly services at Christ Church Quincy use a customized liturgy organized by the Rector that features prayers, collects and other liturgical elements from other Anglican sources, such as the New Zealand Prayer Book.
