The South Shore Youth Group meets during the academic year and includes young adults from the South Shore Deanery of the Episcopal Church and beyond. The group meets twice a month, once for a service project or an educationally focused program to address contemporary issues at the intersection of Christian faith and daily lives. (“Be Tech Savvy among Cyber Bullies,” “Church: Why Bother?,” “Drugs: What’s the Big Deal?,” “Dating in this Awkward World,” and much more).
The second monthly gathering is a more social event, giving teens a chance to mingle and to have teen led discussions.
The group meets Sunday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 under the guidance of Youth Director Hume Jamison in the Parish Hall at St Chrysostom’s Church, 1 Linden Street (corner of Hancock), Quincy. All teens are welcome regardless of religion or church affiliation.
