February Meeting Summary:
The Fair: The vestry expressed thanks to all who contributed to another successful Fair this year, with special thanks to Carol Thompson.
Garage Sale: As it requires much work by many hands and does not generate significant funds, The Vestry decided to discontinue holding garage sales after one last one this spring. Thanks again to Carol for her tremendous effort!
Scholarship Fund: The Vestry decided to update the requirements to broaden the definition to include assistance to diocesan mission trips, Episcopal Youth events and others. A maximum of one scholarship will be awarded annually for each applicant. The scholarships provide up to one third of the cost of the event as a show of the support of CCQ behind each attendee.
Vestry Focus: the Vestry discussed ways to prioritize our mission for 2014. At the Rector’s suggestion, we will start with our Hospitality and Formation missions.
