In partnership with Baystate Textiles, CCQ collects most used textiles, recyling over 95% of the items collected, avoiding landfills!
Eligible items include (clean and dry):
- clothing
- shoes
- belts, purses, luggage
- curtains, sheets, blankets
- stuffed animals
30% gets donated to thrift stores
30% is made into industrial rags
35% is made into stuffing for cushions
5% has been contaminated and must be discarded
CCQ receives $0.05 for every pound of textiles in the bin, so remember us at spring cleaning time, moving time, change of season time or any time!
